I know, I know...who replaces the parking brake (unless this is part of passing your state inspection). Well in Ohio there is no such legislation but if you have a house like I do with a steep driveway having a parking brake is a must so that you can relieved the strain of your automatic transmission holding your vehicle in place.
There are three cable in the Bronco parking brake system. One primary that goes to the foot pedal and two secondary cables, one goes to each rear drum.
Here is a picture of the access hole you have to use to route the primary cable into the passenger compartment and to the parking brake pedal.
To get to the access hole you must remove the front inner fender on the drivers side.
