Fuel System

Here is what I did to the Fuel System

While I was working on the electrical I noticed that the gas tank straps where completely rusted through. Originally I purchased the OEM straps but found that the T shaped slots that the straps fit in towards the back of the truck where too rusted to hold the tank up properly so I purchased a universal gas tank strap kit and drilled a couple of holes and bolted the straps in place. The straps look dull because I sprayed undercoating on them after I was done.

I noticed that the fuel line between the Fuel pump and the carburetor was rubbing against the power steering belt. Apparently someone replaced this section and did not put in the right angle of bend to prevent this contact. So I replaced it:

When I was replacing the brake system, I noticed that the fuel line between the fuel pump and the gas tank was wet in several places so I tore out all of the old fuel line and replaced it:
