Here is what I did to the electrical system:
The electrical harness that connects to the ignition coil was held in place with duct tape. I though putting a nylon strap on it to hold the electrical harness in place was much more appealing:
Rewired the radio so that I don't loose my stations every time I shut the truck off:
Replaced the bulb and deteriorated plastic cover of the interior dome light:
The drivers side rear brake light was wired wrong. So that when when I used the turn signal to turn left the brake/turn signal filament would glow dimly. So I rewired it:
The passenger side rear brake light didn't work due to a wire corroded where it went into a connector. I used a wire tap to fix the problem:
The license plates lights where missing and the wiring was dragging on the ground. I purchased two aftermarket license plate lights and wired them in:
