Some of the coolant hoses had the original tower clamps that came directly from the factory. That makes some of the hoses vintage 1978 rubber! I went ahead and replaced every coolant hose under the hood. Seeing that I had everything apart it made sense to also replace the thermostat, water pump and all V-drive belts.
